Between a possibly staged post-election hike and popping champagne before the votes were tallied on Tuesday, this might be the worst story weâve heard about Hillary Clinton assuming that sheâd win the White House.
The former Secretary of State had a photo taken the day before the election, personally autographing copies of Newsweekâs âMadam Presidentâ issue for a fan.

Newsweek had thought Clinton would win, and advanced the print of 125,000 commemorative copies of their next issue.
Like so many organizations, journalists, and pundits â they got it wrong.
âLike everybody else, we got it wrong,â Tony Romando, the chief executive of Newsweekâs production partner, said in a statement. âAll wholesalers and retailers have been asked to return any issues they have as we need to clear room for the President Trump issue. We expect it to sell very well as there is obviously a great demand.â
Weâd be a little sad if it wasnât so presumptuous.
