At the age of 62, Iraqi veteran Abu Tahseen isn’t the first person you’d expect to strike fear into the hearts of ISIS fighters.
But after Tahseen witnessed ISIS take over his country, what was he supposed to do…roll over and risk losing his homeland?
Not this veteran.
From the Daily Caller:
Abu Tahseen is an Iraqi veteran of five wars. After that many conflicts and at his age, no one would blame him if he simply enjoyed retirement, but that’s not how Tahseen is wired.
When ISIS invaded Iraq, the sniper returned to the battlefield. In less than a year, he has killed 174 ISIS fighters with his sniper rifle.
“I’m relaxed, my mind is relaxed. Last time they gave me a month off and after 12 days I came back,” Tahseen said.
Tahseen fights for “Hashd Al-Shaabi militia – A Shia group. He currently is stationed in the Makhoul Mountains in North Baiji, Iraq.”
