Please make a comment if you think my mom should let me hem my skirt 1.5 inches above my knee. #Thinkofhowclosemybirthdayis… – Natasha <3

The great thing about Twitter is you can find a million people to take your side when you’re locked in a debate.
Former “Full House” star Candace Cameron Bure and her teenage daughter, Natasha, took their debate about raising Natasha’s school uniform skirt’s hemline to the Twitter masses for their opinions.
The moms and other fans of modesty were out in full-force to support Bure’s veto.
@candacecbure Good for you. I'm in shock at the uniform skirt lengths I see. Cheerleading is an AFTER school sport! >:-(

@candacecbure In regards to the skirt hemming and other issues. The only thing you have to answer is "What does the bible say?"

@candacecbure if u don't hem she will just roll it up anyway like a good private school girl
— T (@shortbreadgirl) August 14, 2012
@candacecbure I think at least 1 inch would be fair. As long as it isn't too short then it should be alright 🙂
— Eilish (@Eilish7293) August 14, 2012
@candacecbure I think she should, 1.5 inches isn't that short. Look at what other girls are wearing, come on mama!
— Jackie Lewin (@Jackiemaui81) August 14, 2012
@candacecbure In your family photo on twitter, her skirt is well over 3" above the knee so I don't see what the debate is about.
— Lissa (@redrosesnsun) August 14, 2012
@candacecbure I think 1 1/2 inch above the knee is still modest and appropriate. I say let her hem it. #momof4
— Sandy Kolhagen (@SandyKolhagen) August 14, 2012
@candacecbure poor thing. Let her bc otherwise she'll end up rolling up the skirt. Lol Also u don't want the other girls to make fun of her
