Who knew selfies could be this dangerous?

A teenage boy in India is dead after trying to take a selfie while posing with his father’s gun. Fifteen-year-old Ramandeep Singh shot himself in the head with the .32 caliber pistol, which did not have the safety feature on.

Sadly, Indians have more than their fair share of these incidents. Just under 40% of all selfie-related deaths worldwide occur in India.

Folks, please practice gun safety. And if you see people put themselves at risk just to get the perfect shot, tell them to put the phone down.

It’s not worth it.
