Rep. Peter King isn’t shy when it comes to his overzealous support of Obama’s proposed strike against Syria, or about smearing those who disagree with him. He’s especially not shy when comparing Sen. Rand Paul to Charles Lindbergh, famous aviator and pre-World War II Nazi sympathizer.
Pretty harsh words. Rep. King tosses them pretty much at the drop of a hat.
From last month:
Peter King compares Rand Paul to Charles Lindbergh, says there was ‘no pork’ in ‘Hurricane Sandy’ bill – TGD http://t.co/jU2sZ6j8nU
— Neias N more (@NeiasNmore) August 4, 2013
And he’s not the only one. Here’s Sen. John “Wacko Bird” McCain in an interview with The New Republic:
Wow. John McCain groups Rand Paul and Ted Cruz with Henry Ford, Lindbergh and "isolationist, America-Firsters." http://t.co/s4wVAnlDiN
— Yoni Appelbaum (@YAppelbaum) July 31, 2013
And again a few months before that:
Yes he goes there — crazy, angry grandpa McCain identified Rand Paul as a member of 1930s anti-Semite tradition http://t.co/M8i3x5L6pY

And let’s not forget New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie:
"But then Christie had compared Paul
to Charles Lindbergh—for his isolationism, not the aviation." http://t.co/do2XzEGmSV— Alex (@axfelix) August 3, 2013
So it appears the establishment wing of the GOP party has found it’s one-word answer to a Senator who dares question profligate spending and war adventurism: “NAAAAAAAAZI!”
