Earlier this month, Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue signed a proclamation that would begin the dismantling of the federal school lunch guidelines so near and dear to Michelle Obama’s heart. And now, from her moral high ground, the former FLOTUS is taking the Trump administration to task:

Because clearly wanting to restore local control over school lunches means wanting your kids to eat crap.
Didn't her program massively fail? https://t.co/qntd4sLn3i

Depends on how you define “fail.” If you’re asking if students all over the country — and their parents — hated it, then yes. It massively failed.
@KatMcKinley I wonder why she was okay with lunches so unappetizing that kids just threw them away.

@BraddJaffy I guess she thinks it is better that the kids throw it away and eat nothing at all.

@BraddJaffy Well my kids were thrilled her lunch program is gone. It wasn't enough food to eat!!

@BraddJaffy Personally as someone who had to eat meals under Michelle's plan for 4 yrs, she is the last person to talk about kids being served crap food

@BraddJaffy literally nobody liked the michelle obama school lunch program. stop pretending like everybody loved it. it was shit

Yep. It kinda was.
@BraddJaffy Think about the fact it's not your place to tell anyone what to feed their kids.
