@imillhiser After reading your timeline, just admit that you love him and have a collage of Gorsuch pics covering your bedroom wall.

As Judge Neil Gorsuch’s SCOTUS confirmation gets closer to becoming a reality, many Democrats and liberals are growing increasingly desperate. But even among the Feinsteins and the Kohns and the Durbins and the Frankens, ThinkProgress’ justice editor Ian Millhiser manages to stand out.
Not only is Millhiser rooting for Gorsuch to fail, but he’s apparently straight-up obsessed with the guy. Take a look at some of his most recent tweets:
Gorsuch reminds me of a super-wholesome dad who turns out to be the leader of an evil plot to overthrow the government in Act 3 of the movie

OMG! I just realized who Gorsuch is. He's the Mayor from Season 3 of Buffy.

Neil Gorsuch isn't a bad guy if you look past the time when he turned into a giant snake and ate a bunch of people at Sunnydale High School.
— Ian Millhiser (@imillhiser) March 22, 2017
Neil Gorsuch is that really studious guy you knew in college who was popular and well-liked and also a vampire who feeds on the innocent.
— Ian Millhiser (@imillhiser) March 22, 2017
Neil Gorsuch is your best friend's strict-but-fair dad who also engages in human sacrifice.
— Ian Millhiser (@imillhiser) March 22, 2017
Neil Gorsuch is your college boyfriend who is kind-natured and good in bed and is also secretly siphoning your lifeforce to become immortal.
— Ian Millhiser (@imillhiser) March 22, 2017
Neil Gorsuch is the kind of person who would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you meddling kids.
— Ian Millhiser (@imillhiser) March 22, 2017
Neil Gorsuch is the kind of person who accidentally traps Dream in his basement after he tries to capture Death.
— Ian Millhiser (@imillhiser) March 22, 2017
I'm deeply saddened that there are people in this world who don't understand that Neil Gorsuch is the villain in a Joss Whedon show.
— Ian Millhiser (@imillhiser) March 22, 2017
There’s plenty more where that came from, but we can only handle so much at one time. Suffice it to say that Millhiser should probably seek help sooner rather than later.
I'm starting to think you had a horrid college experience, need help, and so much is suddenly explained https://t.co/GZnqblqO0z

This is an actual thing that an actual person actually wrote and actually thought was worth sharing and actually tweeted out.— Jerry Dunleavy (@JerryDunleavy) March 22, 2017
@imillhiser somebody actually had this thought cross their mind, typed it out and pressed tweet.

Oh, and then there’s this:
Franken is up now at the Gorsuch hearing. Starting off with mandatory arbitration.
— Sam Baker (@sam_baker) March 22, 2017
Franken is just so fucking good at this job. https://t.co/XkL459E0Jp
— Ian Millhiser (@imillhiser) March 22, 2017
Hearing resumes. Franken begins by noting that he was wrong and Gorsuch was right, about the year the Federal Arbitration Act passed (1925)
— Zoe Tillman (@ZoeTillman) March 22, 2017
Oops.

Too bad. “A” for effort, though, Ian!
Life comes at you fast when you're Millhiser-grade stupid https://t.co/OUBACB81AI
