As Twitchy told you, last week, Middlebury College made the news when the Tolerance Mob of Tolerance shouted and screamed at guest speaker Charles Murray, following him outside after he gave up and physically assaulting his escort, Professor Allison Stanger, and leaving her with injuries requiring hospitalization.
Well, the college wants to make sure something like this never happens again. So the student government assocation is taking action, warning future violent protest mobs that there will be consequences for their actions.
Just kidding! They’re cracking down on controversial speakers:

Great plan there, Middlebury SGA. A real winner.
Wow, the Middlebury student government's solution to rioters assaulting controversial speakers on campus is to censor controversial speakers https://t.co/DamMJyGe75

@Yair_Rosenberg Yes, let's take a mess and then pile more ill thought solutions on top in that maybe something good will emerge.

For what it’s worth, tweeter Andrew Smith, who lists his location as Middlebury College, had this to say:
@SamatFIRE to be fair, a number of people immediately pointed out why it was a bad idea and it didn't pass. should show in the minutes

Let’s hope there’s still enough sanity left to ultimately win the day.
