Yesterday, Mark Zuckerberg released a video to pimp his home AI system project “Jarvis.” The video included a swipe at much-maligned Canadian band Nickelback (starts around the 1:10 mark):
That didn’t sit well with singer Avril Lavigne, who’s married to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. Tonight, she shared her message for Zuckerberg:
Dear @facebook, pic.twitter.com/1SCjWVV9TK

Props to her for defending her husband’s band, but this may just be an exercise in futility. First of all, Zuckerberg’s joke may have been kinda lame, but bullying? Hardly. And second of all … this is Nickelback we’re talking about.

it was a harmless joke, relax.

McDonald's has sold billions of hamburgers. Number of items sold is not correlated with the quality of the product.

I never thought I'd see the day where I take the side of @facebook.
Shame on you @AvrilLavigne for making that day arrive.
