@thehill Disconcerting at best for the veterans, but not surprising.

Well, gee. Isn’t this interesting?

From The Hill:
Donald Trump is postponing an announcement about the money he’s raised for military veterans until after Memorial Day.The presumptive Republican presidential nominee claims he raised about $6 million for veterans when he declined to participate in a Fox News debate in January, but critics have scrutinized the fundraising totals.
After being hounded by reporters for more specifics, Trump told CNN he would provide details about his fundraising efforts on Memorial Day, but is now delaying the announcement until Tuesday.
Wonder why that is …
@thehill cuz he's bullshittin

Trump’s always talking about how much he loves veterans (when he’s not diminishing their service or outright disparaging them, that is). You’d think he’d be eager to prove he’s honored his commitment to them.
But apparently you’d be wrong.

Obvious solution: write check for $6 million and make this all go away.
Obvious problem: he doesn't have the money. https://t.co/C64FCETgee
