We knew going into this ridiculous #GunsInAmerica “townhall” farce that there’d be a lot of B.S. to wade through. But we can’t help but be impressed by how quickly — and effortlessly — President Obama dispensed with reality in order to push his anti-gun zealotry.
Take this gem, for example:
Obama just said guns are cheaper and more available than books. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

This is not a drill. Repeat: This is not a drill.
Typo fixed. Obama: it's cheaper for kids to buy a gun than a book pic.twitter.com/xJI1sE3jm1

His thought, exactly:
“There are neighborhoods around the country where it is easier for a 12- or 13-year-old to purchase a gun, and cheaper than it is for them to get a book.”
Oh. Em. Gee.
Obama just said there are neighborhoods in America where it is easier to buy a gun than a book. That is a preposterous lie.

Utterly absurd https://t.co/QATeeIwGnw

Right. He said it with a straight face too. https://t.co/SzIlj5VIGD

It’s not lies that trip Obama up; it’s truth.
"Guns are cheaper and easier than to get a book." That is pure and total HORSE SHIT. #GunsInAmerica

If you're genuinely stupid enough to believe guns are cheaper and easier to buy than books, trade me a gun for any bestseller on Amazon.

Here it comes. “In some areas it’s easier for a kid to buy a gun, and cheaper, than to get a book.” And that’s a criminal act #GunsInAmerica

Don’t tell us you “respect” the right to bear arms when you outright lie to push further restrictions. #GunsInAmerica
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) January 8, 2016
Amen to that.
