As Twitchy reported yesterday, a Washington Post reporter was escorted out of a meeting with John Kerry after having the nerve to ask him a question about human rights.
Well, for what it’s worth, New York Times Magazine contributor Julia Ioffe is totes fine with that:
She asked a question about human rights, which was not the focus of the meeting. ?????? https://t.co/hv14zyJDXy

Here’s the funny thing, though. A little over an hour later, she tweeted this about the GOP presidential candidates:
For candidates who so love shouting about freedom, they're weirdly uncomfortable with the freedom of the press to ask them questions.

We’re getting mixed signals here, Julia.

Pretty pathetic, no?

It sure is. We don’t recall her raising any concerns when this happened:

And stuff like this certainly doesn’t do her any favors:
@charlie_simpson from what I understand, though, the 2nd Amendment allows shooting journalists if you feel threatened by their questions.

GOP trolls on Twitter, amirite?

Let’s hear it for Real Journalism™!
@BecketAdams I know she's being sarcastic, but just look how flippant she is about this: https://t.co/fh6psRA3WS

.@juliaioffe amazingly, adults have debates all the time without the participation of J-school morons with index cards & stopwatches.

.@juliaioffe the dishonesty and hypocrisy of the leftist media is truly breathtaking https://t.co/YzTz7sdxDK
