Seriously. It’s about time!

At today’s press briefing, White House press secretary Josh Earnest addressed the issue of unequal pay. That’s when he said this:

Well, duh! The Obama White House has been crusading for “paycheck fairness” for as long as we can remember, all the while paying female staff less — 88 cents for every dollar that male staff earn, according to an American Enterprise Institute study from earlier this year.

So yeah, in this case, Earnest is on the money.

You know, maybe Earnest should turn today’s truth nugget into a template for future press briefings. After all, this White House gets pretty much everything wrong:
