Last night’s playoff game was a rough one for Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin. First, he was accused by some of getting away with a travel (some believe that he did actually dribble the ball):
“@TheSportsVines: Does Jeremy Lin have his passport? Because he doing some serious traveling http://t.co/7OSDJjKzeY”oh my shit
— HOEkage (@cunter_dean) April 28, 2014
And then, with just seconds left to go in the fourth quarter, Lin fumbled the ball and allowed the Portland Trailblazers to tie the game:
I have never seen a basketball player fail so often in the span of ten seconds. Poor Jeremy Lin http://t.co/udUXggIdkJ

Portland went on to win Game 4 in overtime, 123 to 120.
Since then, Lin has taken quite a beating. Not only did his coach single him out:

But tweeters have been cruel as well:
Too many people putting too much blame on @JLin7

Amidst all the criticism, though, Lin has found strength in God:
Joshua 1:9 … Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
