You know who does care? HuffPo political editor Sam Stein.
As Twitchy reported, IRS official Lois Lerner took the Fifth at this morning’s House Oversight Committee hearing. Realizing he’d get nowhere with Lerner, committee chair Darrell Issa shut down the proceedings after about 15 minutes. That royally pissed off Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings, who quickly started railing against Issa. By that point, Issa had had enough, and he cut off Cummings’ mic — several times.
Now, while most of us look at today’s hearing and focus on Lerner’s conduct and the countless questions that remain unanswered, for Stein, it was all about Issa being mean to Cummings:
So far today, that’s Stein’s only tweet about the hearing.

Hey, what else would you expect from a guy who doesn’t understand why the IRS scandal is “a thing”? Issa cutting off Cummings’ mic? That, ladies and gentlement, is a thing.
You may or may not agree with what Issa did, but is silencing Cummings’ mic after the hearing was adjourned really more noteworthy than purported widespread corruption at the IRS?
