The tweet stuck around for 26 seconds before being deleted. In the grand scheme of things, 26 seconds may not seem like much, but in the Twitterverse, it’s practically an eternity. Warner’s attempt to walk it back proved to be nothing more than an exercise in futility:
That’s some “staff” you’ve got there, Senator. Despite what you may want, we won’t forget what we saw.
