If thereâs one thing we can count on, itâs that the government canât be counted on to get anything right.
For months and months, the Obama administration has been telling us how awesome Obamacare is and how much everyone wants it. This morning, the HHS blog trumpeted 3 million âenrollmentsâ since October 1, 2013:
And we may never know as long as the White House insists on using a bogus definition of âenrollment.â But brace yourselves â this gets even stupider. That January 15 date HHS gave? Apparently, it was wrong:
âSorry for the confusionâ? HHS canât even figure out when all these supposed âenrollmentsâ actually took place.
This goes beyond confusion; this is flat-out incompetence.
Thereâs also a big difference between the actual number of âenrollmentsâ and the goal HHS initially set:
Fat chance.
Maybe itâs time for HHS to get a name change:
Sounds about right.
