Yesterday, Twitchy told you about Edie Littlefield Sundby, a Stage IV gallbladder cancer survivor who will lose her current health care coverage at the end of this year. The White House’s Dan Pfeiffer subsequently took to Twitter to smear her, because he’s a ginormous douchebag who’d rather protect the bogus Obamacare narrative than show compassion for one of its victims. But as it turns out, the White House may not have been finished with Sundby yet.
During today’s press briefing, Jay Carney was in the process of making excuses for insurance cancellation “anecdotes” when he mentioned the story of a woman who found out she would not be able to keep her coverage:

So, for example, the — I think — very sensational report last week that focused on a woman from Florida and her existing insurance coverage and her concern that she couldn’t keep that plan. A little reporting, a little more information — and Consumer Reports did a story on this — that her coverage she had was so-called junk coverage.
Though Sundby is from California, and not Florida, several tweeters believe that Carney had Sundby in mind when he dismissed the “sensational report.”

Here’s what we need to keep in mind: Regardless of whether or not Carney was referring specifically to Sundby, the fact remains that he, like his boss, is outright dismissive toward those who are hurting because of Obamacare. And that is inexcusable.

Update:
When Carney mentioned the “woman from Florida,” he may have been referring to 56-year-old Dianne Barrette, who claimed that her premium would increase more than tenfold under Obamacare. While there are some doubts about that figure, lefties like Mediaite’s Tommy Christopher are excusing any increase in premiums as evidence that consumers’ current plans are just “junk insurance.” Carney clearly agrees.
