Filthy Filner charged with false imprisonment, battery; Media conveniently forget his party ID

In late August, Bob “Filthy” Filner resigned from the San Diego mayorship following multiple allegations of sexual harassment. But while he lost his post, he didn’t really have to face more serious consequences for his serial pervitude.

Fortunately, today, he finally has to answer for something:

Filner charged with one felony of false imprisonment , two misdemeanors of battery, according to court official.

Charges against Filner were filed by the state AG Office this morning at 9 AM. He's due in court at 10 AM. Vics ID''d only as 3 Jane Does.
