Earlier this week, Deadspin reported that in 2007, pro-basketball player J.J. Redick allegedly drew up an “abortion contract” with his then-girlfriend. Tweeters were understandably horrified, but as Salon.com writer Mary Elizabeth Williams sees it, abortion contracts could actually be good for society:
