Oops: ABC News forgets how amendments make it into the Constitution

Well, they tried. Or something.

Anjuli Sastry posted an article at ABC News about colleges attempting to get the Supreme Court to overturn the Citizens United decision. Sastry’s article contains this interesting little nugget:

Well, the U.S. Constitution does have 27 amendments, but the Supreme Court didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. Amendments make it into the Constitution after they’re ratified by three-fourths of the states.
