Moral bankruptcy personified:
Pretty tough, evidently. Watch as Alisa LaPolt Snow, who represents the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, performs moral and intellectual acrobatic feats in order to make the case for ‚Äúpost-birth abortion‚ÄĚ (via The Weekly Standard):
Representative: What objection could you possibly have to obligate a doctor to transfer a child born alive to a hospital, where it seems to me they would be most likely to be able to survive?
Snow: What about those situations where it’s in a rural healthcare setting, the hospital is 45 minutes, and hour away, that’s the closest trauma center or emergency room? You know there’s just some logistical issues involved that we have some concerns about.
A child is not a logistical issue; a child is a human being. It‚Äôs horrific enough that Planned Parenthood insists that a developing fetus isn‚Äôt a person. For Snow ‚ÄĒ who speaks on Planned Parenthood‚Äôs behalf ‚ÄĒ to suggest that a newborn who manages to survive an attempt on its life is expendable ‚Äúin a rural healthcare setting,‚ÄĚ or in any setting, is to condone infanticide. And it‚Äôs utterly indefensible.
If anything can be gleaned from this sickening display, it’s this:
