It’s a day that ends in “y,” so you bet your boots!
A Very White Republican Leadership Plans Minority Outreach. My latest story:http://t.co/M7NTUyFGEJ
— McKay Coppins (@mckaycoppins) March 28, 2013
Former RNC field rep told me his colleagues would pass around a "pander bear" beanie baby to mock minority outreach http://t.co/M7NTUyFGEJ

There isn't a single minority among the 20 most senior officials who run the RNC, NRSC, and NRCC. http://t.co/M7NTUyFGEJ

RNC spox @seanspicer didn't dispute that the party needs more diversity, said that's what's driving new outreach push http://t.co/M7NTUyFGEJ

"Any kind of racially specific campaign activity was often treated with skepticism by white staffers"— ex-RNC staffer http://t.co/M7NTUyFGEJ
— McKay Coppins (@mckaycoppins) March 28, 2013
Hmmm … maybe that’s because pandering and condescension aren’t terribly effective methods when it comes to wooing potential GOP voters.
Steele slams Priebus for not really believing in minority outreach: "Reince is not the guy to get this done." http://t.co/M7NTUyFGEJ
— McKay Coppins (@mckaycoppins) March 28, 2013
Well, Steele didn’t exactly get it done, either.
@mckaycoppins As for Michael Steele, his complete implosion of leadership is the reason we don't have a black Republican chairman.
— Sunny (@sunnyright) March 28, 2013
@mckaycoppins He went into it with grassroots support and would be chair today, but he completely imploded. His fault, not ours.

Meanwhile, McKay, aren’t you forgetting something?
Oh so like Obama's cabinet? MT @mckaycoppins

.@rubycramer @mckaycoppins meanwhile Obama continues to appoint white people to key positions in his administration.
— Hair (@SHannitysHair) March 28, 2013
Bingo. And not only is Obama’s cabinet padded with palefaces, but his campaign headquarters are lily-white, too. Where’s the indignation from BuzzFeed about that?
These Twitterers raise another great point:
@mckaycoppins If there were, you bigots would ostracize them and call them Uncle Toms. I wonder if there is a connection! @sallykohn

Notably missing from BuzzFeed's "RNC is white story"…mention of all the Dems who attack prominent black Republicans in nasty racist ways
— Drew McCoy (@DrewMTips) March 28, 2013
Dr. Ben Carson has been slammed and derided for his association with the GOP. Lefties hurled vile epithets at Sen. Tim Scott for daring to be a black conservative. Obama supporters urged black Romney voters to kill themselves. It’s the perpetually race-obsessed Left that has its priorities backwards. A far better use of Coppins’ time would be to address liberals’ stunning hypocrisy when it comes to racial issues. But no doubt that’s asking for too much.
At what point does the FEC require BuzzFeed to add "Paid for by the Democratic National Committee" to posts? http://t.co/75RSBTPfKK
— Sunny (@sunnyright) March 28, 2013
It’s only a matter of time.
