Back in January, Gov. Bobby Jindal said that the GOP needs to “stop being the stupid party.” It seems that his advice fell on deaf ears.
The order, which goes against Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe’s cost-cutting five-day weekly service plan, is attached to a House Appropriations bill as a rider. Remember when the GOP stood for fiscal conservatism? Yeah, those were fun times.
Inquiring minds want to know.
GOP Rep. Darrell Issa, chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, expressed support for Donahoe’s proposal. Now what?
Someone needs to smack some sense into the GOP:
Hey Republicans, do your jobs.
