#BindersFullOfWomen: Romney touts jobs record with women, liberal mockery ensues

As Twitchy reported, at tonight’s debate, an “uncommitted” voter questioned the candidates about the so-called “wage disparity” between men and women. In his response, Romney touted his record when it comes to employing women in his cabinet. He mentioned how he and his staff actively sought out women to fill vacant positions, remarking on the binders full of potential female job candidates:

Rather than pay attention to his message, however, liberals seized the opportunity to pounce on Romney for his word choice. The #bindersfullofwomen hashtag quickly took off, trending nationally and showcasing the Left’s misplaced priorities:

Romney admittedly could have found a better way to say what he said, but the fact remains that he actually is concerned with women’s employment. And, if yesterday’s USA Today/Gallup poll is any indication, women believe that he’s the candidate who will help them get back to work.
