On the eve of the 11th anniversary of 9/11, professional ogre and Current TV reject Keith Olbermann took to Twitter to mark the tragedy in the only way he knows how: blaming the Bush Administration. He linked to a piece in The New York Times, that paragon of journalistic integrity, suggesting that Bush’s actions led directly to the deaths of nearly 3,000 citizens on U.S. soil. Nope. No agenda there.
Olbermann went on to share his trademark hard-hitting analysis:
Times: on MAY 1 2001 Bush WH was warned by CIA that "'a group presently in the US' was planning a terrorist operation" http://t.co/TcLLIfIv
— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) September 11, 2012
6/22 CIA to WH: '"the daily brief reported that Qaeda strikes could be “imminent."' Neo-cons argued this was attempt to divert US from Iraq
— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) September 11, 2012
Times: CIA desperately fought this criminally delusion. 6/29: "The US is not the target of a disinformation campaign by Usama Bin Laden"
— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) September 11, 2012
NYT: "Operatives connected to Bin Laden…expected the planned near-term attacks to have 'dramatic consequences' including major casualties"
— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) September 11, 2012
Only possible conclusion from http://t.co/UDaUedwX : Bush Administration, President Bush were fully warned of 9/11, did nothing.
— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) September 11, 2012
So, in other words, George W. Bush wanted 9/11. At the very least, he was asking for it. Keep going, Keith. You’re on a roll.

Bush, Cheney, Rice, and all the rest will have to answer to history, to the American people, to the dead in NY, DC, Shanksville – & Iraq

Have you no shame, sir? Have you no decency?
If their religions are correct, 100% RT @rhylton2 If only… What are the odds that any of them will answer for any of it? Really?
— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) September 11, 2012
Jab at Christianity? Check.
Now we can understand the look on Bush's face. He had been fully warned, he had "known better," his arrogance had led to an attack on USA.
— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) September 11, 2012
How absolutely disgusting.

Update:
Olbermann apparently couldn’t resist politicizing a national tragedy just a little bit more:
On the question of seemliness and timeliness, I will not be lectured: On 9/4/08, the Republican Convention showed a graphic 9/11 snuff film
— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) September 11, 2012
Yes, that’s right. To a complete jackass like Olbermann, a tribute to the victims of 9/11 is a GOP “snuff film.”
This was the RNC 9/11 snuff film, and at 2:58, this was my reaction. And we didn't know then of tonight's revelations http://t.co/q66TZlDi
— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) September 11, 2012
Stay classy, Keith.

Update:
Apparently, Keith is none too pleased at being called out by Twitchy for his asshattery:
Your hypocrisy is on this, after 10 years of GOP exploitation of 9/11, is immeasurable RT @TwitchyTeam Vile: Keith … http://t.co/MZjiwaZN

As an aside, no stupid twitter name has ever been more unintentionally appropriate than @TwitchyTeam
