James Comey, ladies and gentlemen:
NEW: Per Pete Williams, Comey told the IG that he didn't know Anthony Weiner was married to Huma Abedin. https://t.co/j2zMRVNPoD

We didn’t know it was possible not to know that.

Ignorance of very public knowledge is definitely something you look for in an FBI director.

Does Comey think this will make him look better? More sympathetic?
Biggest revelation to me so far in #IGReport
.@Comey did not realize Huma and A. Weiner were married.
So, like, this super-investigator, w/access to every piece of information on planet, was clueless about fact every newspaper reader knows?

I find Comey's account of his knowledge here "unpersuasive"

He also didn't know Hillary Clinton was married to Bill Clinton

Ha!
Seriously, though. This revelation is nothing if not incredibly disturbing.
How can anyone argue that this man wasn't grossly incompetent? https://t.co/ewMK1Kfrqi

Either that, or he’s a flaming liar. Or maybe, just maybe, he’s both.
