Blue-checked social media star is gonna need you to stop referring to women by this 'degrading' term, thanks

We’ve gotta admit that we’d never heard of Maia before today. We had to Google her to learn that she’s apparently a social media star and singer who plays the ukelele.

Clearly that makes her important enough to merit being blue-checked.

Anyway, Maia’s got some friendly advice for anyone out there who makes it a habit to refer to women by a particularly degrading term:
