A lot of media personalities are obnoxious and self-righteous, but Dan Rather is special.
Because he’s a media “elder statesman” and therefore believes he’s even more saintly than your run-of-the-mill obnoxious and self-righteous media personality.
Donald Trump has a penchant for tweeting in all caps, or at least using a lot of caps. And Dan Rather would just like to point something out:
Just because you put it in all caps doesn’t make it more true.

Are all caps annoying? Yes. But are they dishonest? Well, perhaps Dan Rather’s not the one who should be making that call. You know, since he’s Dan Rather.

Dan Effing Rather, ladies and gentlemen.
Just because Dan Rather said it doesn't make it true at all.

Also, when Dan Rather says it, it tends to be more likely it's un-true.

Good rules of thumb.
