After Donald Trump ran away with the presidency in 2016, Rob Reiner put his credibility on the line to help prove collusion between Trump and the Russian government. And, credit where it’s due, to this day, Reiner hasn’t relented in his dogged pursuit of the truth.
Unfortunately, he may have inadvertently just shot himself in the foot:
The only two people who don’t believe that Vladimir Putin helped Donald Trump win the 2016 presidential election are Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. If you don’t like living under an autocratic regime, you have a chance to not let that happen. VOTE!!!

Hold up … what?
I mean, under the logic of this tweet, Putin didn't actually help Trump. I'm pretty sure he would know. https://t.co/HHOU32kIZ5

Rob Reiner admits there was no Russian collusion.

Just to be clear: the two people who would actually know more than anyone else about whether there was collusion believe there was no collusion. Did you really mean to say that?

For what it’s worth, even the hardcore Resistance devotees are confused:
You actually think they don’t know!
— Just Me (@cnylvr) July 3, 2018
Not true. Trump and Putin know Putin helped Trump win the 2016 presidential election.

Correction: Vlad knows exactly what he did/is doing. Donnie? Maybe not.

Sorry have to disagree. Putin proudly knows what he did

Pour Meathead … you messed up again!
