We’re still not sure how any sane person could have a beef with Nikki Haley, but Haley Derangement Syndrome is real. How real? Well, Slate’s resorted to combing through her and her dog’s Instagram accounts to, well, we’re not entirely sure:
Nikki Haley’s Instagram is a bizarre window into one woman who manages to have it all: https://t.co/49gnftb8eZ pic.twitter.com/PaT5yQp9MC
— Slate (@Slate) June 29, 2018
Speaking of bizarre, Slate tweeted that article out a whopping eight more times after that. Which is apparently enough to reassure some people that Haley is, in fact, a terrible person:
she has no shame

She is terrifying.
— Sionnach MacBradaigh (@SionnachMac) July 1, 2018
She doesn’t have any integrity.
— TonyK (@ynot93599534) July 1, 2018
She does have it all: vanity, egotism, cruelty, narcissism and Trumpism.
— Allan Provost (@bromleystreet) June 30, 2018
She has it all except a soul, a reputation or the ability to sleep at night.
— Paul Schroder (@Paulnetx) July 1, 2018
She is beyond despicable
— B. Phoenix Adler (@BTooMarvelous) June 30, 2018
Loathe this 'woman'.
— susanai (@susanrat) July 1, 2018
Trump's own von Ribbentrop.
— ImpoliteCanadian (@BCTraderGuy) July 1, 2018
But for those of us who exist in reality, Slate’s exposé is just a big ol’ bust.
This deep dive investigative series on instagram profiles is groundbreaking. How did you get access to all of these pictures? #pulitzer

Dear Slate,
Everything on Insta is dolled up crap. All of insta is everyone's highlight reel.
Stop sucking the fun out of life.
— Cal Coconut (@TheCalCoconut) July 2, 2018
Does Slate think that Nikki Haley is a successful, intelligent, conservative woman just to spite them? Because we can assure them that Haley has far better things to do with her time.
Wow that’s pathetic @Slate
— Janetmas??✝️?? (@Janetmas) July 2, 2018
One of the most bizarre articles I’ve read.
— Whiskey John (@MrJaf) July 2, 2018
Nothing on there is nearly as abnormal as you taking issue with it
— (((SCOTUSgate))) (@Scottergate) July 2, 2018
When you try to make everything political and falsely ascribe the worst motives to conservatives, it must be *very bizarre* to you to see them acting like the normal people that they are. Human beings gonna human being.
