It’s always good to be reminded where the media stand on the Jews. WaPo’s done their part … now the New York Times is up.
On Sunday, the New York Times published a piece on Foundation for Defense of Democracies chief executive Mark Dubowitz:
He was a tireless critic of the Iran Deal. Now he insists he wanted to save it. https://t.co/5FNCl7qJO2
— The New York Times (@nytimes) May 14, 2018
Ben Rhodes gladly pimped it on his Twitter feed:
When you're paid for years to launch disingenuous attacks at the Iran Deal, at least own the consequences of blowing it up.. https://t.co/zTt1YFut8O
— Ben Rhodes (@brhodes) May 14, 2018
And then, today, this happened:
FLAGGING: @nytimes issues corrections to profile story on me. Corrects FOUR material facts. Also, corrected my birthplace after original story posted. Appreciate efforts of senior editors to correct. Many other misleading elements remain. https://t.co/fQqC4jNzjN pic.twitter.com/OdibdUoj6S
— Mark Dubowitz (@mdubowitz) May 16, 2018
This is one hell of a correction. https://t.co/Gqz4n7azcT pic.twitter.com/iJg4XhLg5X

Remember that super embarrassing @nytimes hit piece on @mdubowitz pitched by Rhodes and his comrades, including insinuations FDD was an Israeli front? NYT has begun posting massive corrections, soon to be longer than the article. Get a f***ing editor, NYT pic.twitter.com/ZGHqLEYGTI

Holy moly.

That “correction” reads more like a retraction.

Almost as if it should never have been written in the first place.
If the NYT isn't interested in journalism it should at the very least stop making the rest of our jobs so much harder. Because there is no excuse for what happened here, and heads should roll. Corrections and apologies should be just the beginning. What a disaster.
— Seth Mandel (@SethAMandel) May 16, 2018
And let's please not forget this is *yet another* occasion where Team Obama pushed dual loyalty charges against a Jewish opponent of the Iran deal.
— Seth Mandel (@SethAMandel) May 16, 2018
This is a common occurrence if you're on the right though. The anti-Semitism in my mentions always ticks up when the Tide Pod America bros get angry at me
— Seth Mandel (@SethAMandel) May 16, 2018
So nice of the New York Times to do Rhodes and friends a solid like this. Hope it was worth all the embarrassment.

When the correction notes become very nearly as long as the original story, it might be time to retract & start over, @nytimes. Embarrassing.

This is genuinely appalling. And note that anyone reporting on a 501-c-3 non profit should know it is governed by a board. Even a New York Times reporter, who thinks he knows a great deal when in fact he knows nothing. https://t.co/vBO9KAXTDu

Journalism is in a sorry state. Just. Terrible.

Hey @nytimes when every error tends in the same direction THEY'RE NOT "ERRORS" THEY'RE LIES#journalism
— Ron Coleman (@RonColeman) May 16, 2018
If after the multiple mistakes JUST IN THE LAST 24 HOURS made by mainstream journalists…if you don't understand why Trump's (admittedly overreaching) attacks on journalists gets traction…I can't help you.

It really seems like they’re beyond help at this point. It’s not a matter of if they’ll destroy themselves; it’s a matter of when.
