As Twitchy told you, actor Kevin Spacey tried to deflect allegations that he had tried to rape then-14-year-old actor Anthony Rapp by officially coming out as gay. Spacey’s maneuver may have been enough to convince some mainstream media outlets, but plenty of people are calling B.S.
One of those people is “Star Trek” actor Zachary Quinto. In a statement today, Quinto, who is gay, called Spacey out for using homosexuality as a smokescreen:
Quinto calls Kevin Spacey's coming out "calculated manipulation to deflect attention" from the accusation that he tried to molest a teenager https://t.co/CGQhTwPgZ5
