Well, here we are, dear reader. The day before the election. It's hard to believe we're here already and yet this has felt like the longest election of my life. Look, I'm not here to whine and make you feel sorry for me (I mean I can if you want) because I know you're just as tired and anxious as I am sitting here in my office trying to figure out how to put into words just how important this election really is. My oldest, our daughter, is a freshman in college and our youngest, our son, is a senior in high school. Even as I write this, she is working on a short story for class and he's on a college visit sending me pictures of the 'biggest cafeteria he's ever seen, mom'!
All elections matter, and sure, pundits and grifters love to tell you THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN HISTORY to get your attention and those valuable clicks and taps, but for me, this really is the most important election ever. See, my kids are on the brink of truly being young adults, going out into this world and having to live in it without my being able to protect them from horrible things. When they're in grade school it's easy to be the 'smother,' knowing a phone call or an email can make all the difference in the world ... but once they're no longer under my roof, it's a whole new ballgame.
And the idea of them getting stuck under a Kamala Harris presidency ... I can't even fathom it. I won't.
While Democrats are pretending abortion is the single most important issue to young people I just have to shake my head because there is so much more they have to worry about, especially our young men. A crumbling economy, an open border, crime-ridden cities, the very real possibility of war; my daughter was looking at the prices of homes and she said, 'Mom, how can I ever afford this?'
It broke my heart because I didn't have an answer.

My son asked me if I thought Kamala would send him to war. I quickly said no because I didn't want him to be afraid but in the back of my head ... I don't know. I don't know if I trust that vapid, ignorant, moronic, useless, unqualified, mess of a human being not to land us in the middle of World War III. He was so concerned that he asked me about the draft, and if they would leave him alone if he was in college.
This is not a conversation we should be having in 2024 and yet with the uncertainty of the country and even the world after a Biden/Harris presidency, sadly anything is possible.
Which is why I am here today to ask you to please vote for Trump. I know, odds are if you're one of our VIP members you are voting for Trump or you already have, but on the off chance that we have some people who are undecided please, for my kids, for all kids, vote Trump. Vote for the candidate who will end the threat of war, bring back our economy and our jobs, and secure our border. You don't have to like the guy, it's not like you're going to dinner or to a movie, this is about voting for you who know can get the job done and save our country - fix what the Biden/Harris administration has broken.
Momentum is there. We have it. All we have to do is show up and VOTE Trump.
So please, vote Trump.
Onward.
