Boy oh boy, has it ever been a blast watching the elites, our betters on the Left, losing their minds because Elon Musk is treating them like the rest of us plebs. For so long, they told us the blue checkmark wasn’t a status symbol, it merely protected them from being impersonated … then they told us it showed the person as notable, whatever the Hell that means. Musk, in his infinite wisdom and on his quest to make Twitter a truly public square, has leveled the playing field.
And the Sneetches who had stars upon thars JUST CAN’T DEAL.
I’ve lost count of the number of famous yahoos claiming Musk is a big ol’ meanie, racist, Nazi, homophobe, anti-Semite so they’re taking their ball and going home. Honestly, in all of my Twitter travels for work (that sounds way cooler than it really is, it just means I spend a lot of time reading Twitter) I am not seeing an increase in hate. Unless I count what’s coming from the Left, but they’ve always been pretty damn hateful so that’s not really an increase.
Case in point, Moby is very upset and leaving Twitter.
This will be my last tweet. Last night @elonmusk posted an alt-right anti-Semitic meme, a fake @cnn story, and an image of guns on his bedside table. @Twitter has become a cesspool of racism, anti-semitism, disinformation, and dimwitted alt-right hate, and it’s time to leave.

The guns on Elon’s bedside table were toy guns, FYI. The anti-Semitic meme was Pepe the Frog who ADL has said is not anti-Semitic. The meme/fake news story was from The Babylon Bee … a satire site.
Ya’ know, if Moby spent a little more time informing himself about these things and a little less time buying into lazy caricatures and stereotypes he’d be a far happier person. And he wouldn’t be making a jacka*s of himself storming off of Twitter over Musk either.
