The allegations coming out against Matt Lauer are seriously disturbing, and if true he really is a monster. But you know who’s the other monster in the room? The one who knew what Lauer was doing and didn’t do a damn thing about it UNTIL they figured out it was going to be bad PR.
To recap, NBC shut down Ronan Farrow’s Weinstein story, forcing him to pursue it on his own — a story that ultimately helped create a climate where NBC had to sever ties with their franchise player. Definition of a bad look.

Definition of a bad look is putting it MILDLY.
They sat on the Access Hollywood tape too. Andrew Lack might be leaving next.

Gosh, are we seeing a pattern here or what?
I’m glad someone is paying attention, connecting the dots, reporting conclusions. Thanks @jelani9

That reminds me that Weinstein hired a firm of firmer spies to research and discredit both his victims and reporters working on the case. It's possible they would have just been afraid to broach the subject OR direct pressure might have come from Weinstein if he knew about Lauer.

The lengths these enablers have gone to in order to protect these monsters is disgusting.
And all for ratings and or politics.
Ronan Farrow- Time Person of the Year.

NBC literally stopped the truth about Weinstein from coming out. Think about that …
The same NBC that wouldn't air the Access Hollywood tape??!
