Dear Media,
Ben Shapiro has a new rule that MIGHT keep you from making fools of yourselves in the future:
How about if we all adopt a "Wait 24 Hours Before Thinking Something Is True" rule?
— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) February 17, 2017
Suppose this could also apply to anyone who sees something in the news that might look, oh a little crazy, and before buying into perhaps wait and make sure it’s legit?
We know, crazy talk.
@benshapiro In the case of today's AP report, 24 minutes would have been sufficient

Truth. The AP was in such a hurry to break the National Guard story they stepped in it, big time.
In fact, they stepped in it so much they stepped out, cleaned their shoes and then stepped back in it.
BIGLY.
@benshapiro Remember when reporters would investigate the stories first to see if they were actually true before publishing them?

Back when we all rode dinosaurs to school. Yup.
@benshapiro how about due diligence and vetting stories, some actual investigative journalism?
— Jimmy Snakes ?? (@JimmySnakes) February 17, 2017
Wait, you mean get out from behind their desks and do actual work?
Psh, oppressor.
@benshapiro Let me get back to you tomorrow on that

And curtain.
