After Senators Graham, McCain, Schumer and (Jack) Reed filed a joint statement on the allegations of Russian hacking during the 2016 election, Senator McConnell has rejected a special committee to investigate such claims.

Per The Hill:
Calling the allegations of Russian meddling “disturbing,” McConnell said the intelligence panel should take the lead, dismissing calls by Sen. McCain (R-Ariz.) and others for a special select committee to review the matter.
He said the Intelligence Committee is “more than capable of conducting a complete review of this matter.”
“We’re going to follow the regular order. It’s an important subject and we intend to review it on a bipartisan basis,” he said.
The Left didn’t exactly take this news all that great …
Didn't Trump just give McConnel's wife a job?SMH

@MitchMcConell Putting party politics & personal $ gains above protecting our democracy. It's not too late to do the right thing.

Of course if they actually READ the article (and not just the headline) they’d see that McConnell hasn’t claimed the allegations are fake, he’s just said they need to let intelligence do its job.
But it is sorta funny to watch the Left freak out about this.
Stay tuned.
