Lena Dunham, if nothing else you are consistently hilarious with your antics, especially when you don’t intend to be funny. We all get a good laugh every time you try and make a difference politically.
Watching Lena Dunham Leave Paul Ryan a Voicemail Is Incredibly Inspiring https://t.co/yMBUN2SBsw

Marie Claire is inspired watching a lunachick like Dunham leave a voicemail for Paul Ryan.
@marieclaire you set a real low bar, huh?

They desperately need to get out more.
@marieclaire You guys apparently have a really low threshold for inspiration. Like, I was dressed before noon today. Be inspired.

And while Marie Claire thought this was inspiring, Twitter didn’t agree and in fact found it far more hilarious.

@marieclaire Nothing about Lena Dunham is inspiring, except for her promising to leave the country.

@marieclaire You mean *fail* to leave a voicemail.
— facepalmer (@johnnyfreshwood) November 15, 2016
And this is true. If you watch the video it’s unclear if Dunham was actually able to leave a voicemail because when she’s ranting about everything and every group she could possibly objectify she runs out of time and then gets fussy that it didn’t take.
So maybe this was just another fail for her.
