Well then, Missouri.

State Senator Jamilah Nasheed, a Democrat from St. Louis, refused to stand during the Pledge of Allegiance in the state Capitol; she said her silent protest was intended to show solidarity with Kaepernick.

And really, how can anyone be ok with this? Football players … sorta annoying and disrespectful but sadly not all that surprising. But an elected state senator? She serves the will of the people, not the will of herself.

Solidarity. Wonder how the St. Louis Rams feel about her showing solidarity with the QB of another team? Heh.

The pay she receives from her constituents aka the tax payers who may or may not appreciate her disrespecting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Surely if she hates the government and country she serves SO MUCH a real protest would be resigning her position. Oh wait, she doesn’t hate it THAT much.
