Activist podcaster and Reflecting Pool sentry Jim Acosta has a reminder for all of us: President Donald Trump votes by mail. Acosta thinks he'd really said something here, but as usual, he's mischaracterizing the story. Trump has no problem with mail-in ballots. But he also knows that while states handle their own election rules, the federal Postal Service is part of that process. In his March 31 executive order, he ordered postal workers not to deliver ballots to those ineligible to vote and to add a barcode to ballots to facilitate tracking. What Trump doesn't want is a ballot mailed to every person on the voter rolls without confirming their eligibility. Acosta knows all that, but he posted this anyway:
Trump votes by mail. That’s it. That’s the tweet.

Jim Acosta is unemployed. That’s it. That’s the post.

Your party cheats with mail in ballots. That's my x post.

Well he's not illegal and not deceased so what's your point.

You really don't understand how legal absentee voting works, do you, ding dong?
— Angela.Kay (@DeepSouthProud) September 15, 2026
Trump votes by absentee ballot which he still wants to remain legal. You already know this🖕🏻
— Trixie Sammons (@TrixxieSam) September 15, 2026
Absentee voting is far different than nut job blue states randomly mailing ballots to anybody and everybody including ILLEGAL ALIENS. The gig is up.

Are you so stupid that you don’t know the difference between an absentee ballot that someone REQUESTS and mail in ballots that are just AUTOMATICALLY mailed to a residence without knowing if they really live there or what? No wonder you suck at journalism.

He knows. He just assumes his followers don't.
Jim Acosta pretends to not understand things for clicks on social media.

Does Acosta realize Trump has nothing against mail in voting? What he has an issue with is the Dems practice of blanket balloting. When you send out 10,000 ballots to 1000 people, there’s going to be widespread fraud. Obviously Dems need to do this in order to win.

All valid voters are welcome to vote by mail. The argument is about ballots that should not be sent to illegal or invalid voters in the first place. Then when those ballots are returned, we don’t trust that they are rejected or corrected. Get on the same page Jim.

It’s an absentee vote. That’s it. That’s the tweet.
— SBG for life (@BunnySBG) September 15, 2026
Only Low IQ people think absentee voting and mass mail voting are the same thing.
— Dr. Alice Truth (@AliceWatch) September 15, 2026
That's the tweet.
Acosta treats “requested absentee while the president is in DC” like a gotcha. That’s an exception most systems already allow. Universal unsolicited mail ballots are the thing Trump actually attacks. Different practices. That’s the distinction.

You'd think a "journalist" like Acosta could do some real reporting, like explaining what the president's executive order actually says. We're talking about blue states that won't let the federal government check for non-eligible registered voters on their rolls, like illegal aliens, while mailing ballots to everyone on the list.
