Guess who else came to the White House state dinner tonight funded by taxpayers as a reward for major campaign donors?
President Obama’s biggest British suck-ups in the media world, of course. On the guest list:
BBC host Katty Kay, who co-wrote a book with her BFF Claire Shipman, the former ABC News/‚ÄĚGood Morning America‚ÄĚ anchor who is married to‚ĶObama White House press secretary and former Time scribe Jay Carney. She gushed:
Blabby Obama biographer, ‚ÄúMSNBC Analyst,‚ÄĚ and White House sycophant Richard Wolffe (whose hacktacularity has earned scorn even among his own lefty peers) was also in attendance and provided non-stop tweetage of the day‚Äôs events:
Another illustrious guest? The thoroughly disgraced Trig Palin conspiracy nut Andrew Sullivan. He was apparently too busy partying to tweet. But more fair-minded Brit journalists took notice:
More from Ben Shapiro at Big Government:
Sullivan is a hateful bully. There are no two ways about it. Doubting the parentage of someone‚Äôs son based on sheer, nasty speculation in the face of all available evidence sinks to the reprehensible. It‚Äôs a hell of a lot worse than the absurd leftist narrative about Slut-gate. It‚Äôs White House-backed lunacy. And it‚Äôs the latest in a series. If, as we reported yesterday, Louis C.K. did indeed visit the White House, this is just the most recent example of an Administration far too comfortable with nasty bullies ‚Äď and deeply hypocritical when it comes to its pursuit of so-called incivility on the other side of the aisle.
Can‚Äôt forget another Brit media elite who got an invite ‚ÄďVogue editor Anna Wintour, a top Obama bundler who is spearheading the ‚ÄúRunway to Win‚ÄĚ fashion fundraising vehicle for the president. And who also happens to use her magazine as an apology vehicle for dictators. Ahem:
