Singer/songwriter Craig Morgan is also a good Samaritan. He and his crew came to the aid of victims of a wreck on I-40 in Tennessee yesterday.

More from WKRN news:

Craig Morgan assisted emergency responders in an accident on Interstate 40 east just 30 miles outside of his hometown of Dickson.

Just after 11:15 a.m. two tractor-trailers and a tanker collided and ignited fire on the roadway.

Morgan and his crew ran to the scene to help extinguish fires and care for the drivers.

Thankfully, the drivers have reportedly suffered only minor injuries.

This wasn’t the first time Mr. Morgan rushed to help others.

In 2011, the EMT-trained Army veteran rescued children from a burning home.

“I opened the door and the house was filled with smoke. There was a little two-year-old over in the corner with his face in the couch and when he saw me come in he got scared and took off running,” Morgan said. “But I snatched him up, then the older child, about six or seven, came out of the bedroom. I grabbed him and took them out to their mom.”

Twitter users are applauding him as a hero … and a superhero!

His daughter (unverified account) tweeted out her pride:

Veteran, hero and loving dad.

Way to go, Mr. Morgan!
