Weird! How can this be? Out: Actual reporting. In: Lame attempts at media-created false narratives.
Weird to see media coverage of the Chick-fil-a "kiss-in." It's a counter-protest… to what? According to the MSM, Wednesday never happened.
— Hadley Heath Manning (@HadleyHeath) August 3, 2012
Ha! But, that’s not completely accurate. As Twitchy reported, the media did make some mention of Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day. Not to report on its epic success, of course. They only made mention in order to label it a “day of intolerance.” See, as always, it is a case of “tolerance” for thee, but not for me. Tolerance tyrants, including those in the media, think tolerance is a one-way street. Submit … or else.
Further, they are willfully refusing to understand the basic concept of the support for Chick-fil-A. It’s not about gay people. It is about free speech, individual liberties and standing up to bullies.
Oh so the media only wants to cover the CFA kiss-in? I guess patriots expressing 1st A rights in droves aren't as sexy as two dudes kissing.
— LMR (@LilMissRightie) August 3, 2012
Bingo. Gay people; Squee! They are so totally cool. The only thing lacking is the pats on their purty, little heads. How condescending, media.
Plus, it helps further the false narrative that this is about “hate” for gay people. This is also why you won’t see any of these pictures today; hateful, intolerant Chick-fil-A staff providing free water and gracious, courteous attention to the people protesting their business and threatening their livelihoods. Now with more hateful graffiti.
Thankfully, new media and “just bloggers” report from on-the-scene and they report things accurately. Twitter users who know not to rely on the dangerously biased media are calling the media out for their pitiful water carrying ways.
Today's #lgbtFAIL kiss-in at Chick-FIl-As garners more media coverage before 9am than "Appreciation Day" did the entire day. #msmFAIL

Prediction of the Obvious Alert: Watch for the #ChickFilA 'Kiss In' to get full-court media coverage and commentary

Mainstream Media Blacks Out CHICK-FIL-A Story? BUT TODAY'S KISS IN DRAWS HUGE PRESS– CORRUPT MEDIA BIAS, HOW SAD IT IS http://t.co/sXamuxc3

The Weekly Standard reports on the abysmal lack of Chick-fil-A appreciation day coverage. Journalistic integrity? Journalists don’t need no stinkin’ integrity!
But you wouldn’t know anything about the national phenomenon by reading the front pages of most of the country’s leading newspapers. There’s no mention of Chick-fil-A on the front pages of the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, theSouth Florida Sun-Sentinel, and the Boston Globe. The front pages of USA Today, the Dallas Morning News, and the Houston Chronicle have small headlines about the restaurant, while Chick-fil-A’s hometown paper, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, fits in a story below the fold under the heading, “Chick-fil-A Controversy.” And the front pages of major news websites are quiet in their coverage as well.
But what will they do when today turns out to be a bust, as it is so far?
I wonder how many people will have to attend the "kiss-in" to warrant nationwide media attention. Fewer than Aug.1st, I'll bet.
— Usuallyrite (@usuallyrite) August 3, 2012
I wonder if the @ChikFilA #kissin will ruin 280 traffic as much as #appreciationday did…
— The Angry Driver (@ihate280) August 3, 2012
My prediction: the "same-sex kiss in" today at Chick-Fil-A will be a big fat bust. Lamestream media will hype it though. #tcot

HuffPo is begging for photos, while calling Chick-fil-A hateful, natch. No, really. They are begging for them in a desperate attempt to show some kind of “protest” action.

Even if you aren’t actually going to the kiss-in, because slacktivism is hard, send pics anyway. So they have something to falsely paint as a success! How pitiful.
But where are they? Where are the photos of the massive crowds, like there were on Appreciation Day?
Not seeing any kiss-in reports/pictures… I thought there was overwhelming outrage at #Chickfila? Silly media. #tcot

Wait, here is one. Full of bigotry and disgusting Christian-bashing.

Heh. Fail, media and “protesters.”
As many media as demonstrators at today's kiss-in at Decatur's Chick-Fil-A. http://t.co/F26ipslU
— Jim Burress (@jimburress) August 3, 2012
Where are the photos? Where are the massive crowds? Oh, wait.
Counter protesting the counter protest? The Mason #ChickFilA has their drive thru reaching the street! Best part, there's no #kissin! #Fail

Americans are still supporting Chick-fil-A and are still refusing to submit to bullying. Chick-fil-A was trending all day during Appreciation Day. Picture services were overwhelmed with pictures. Today? Not so much.
This Twitter user leaves the “protesters” with some food for thought.
I hope the #Kissin has great success at all the mosques they visit today. Oh wait, that's not where they're going?
— Alan Cornett (@alancornett) August 3, 2012
A tale of two pictures tells it all. Here is the “massive,” media-worthy protest today.
Protest time @ Chick-fil-A http://t.co/RoY1WNhX
— Erik S. Lesser (@erikfoto) August 3, 2012
Look at that oh-so-huge crowd!
And here is one from Appreciation Day.
Huh. Wonder why the media swept the second one under the lapdog rug? Does the sight of freedom-loving Americans frighten them?
Update: Proof of failure and media bias.
Media uses pic from Wed for headline about today’s kiss-in http://t.co/WFRTDDpr #MSMislead
— #NeverTrump (@Mermaz) August 3, 2012
That’s right. They used a photo of the huge crowd on Appreciation Day for their article about the “kiss-in” protest. What, no actual pictures from today? Too humiliating to show?
