As Twitchy reported on Friday, the Chick-fil-A “boycott” has been a total fail. Sarah and Todd Palin joined in this non-boycott of Chick-fil-A and united with the Twittersphere in posting pictures of a Chick-fil-A visit.

CNN, it seems, took this as an opportunity to bash Sarah Palin, playing Pink’s “Stupid Girls” as the bumper music for its Palin story. She’s so icky and stupid, natch!

Oh, yes, it’s surely just a coincidence. We totally have a bridge to sell anyone who believes that.

More from Hot Air:

Coming out of a commercial break at 8:40 AM eastern time today, during Randi Kaye’s shift on CNN, the network “unexpectedly” chose to play the refrain from the song “Stupid Girls” by the pop singer Pink going into a story about former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The two word refrain repeated over and over as the camera panned past Ms. Kaye and faded into a picture of Palin visiting a Chic-fil-A restaurant. The host then went on to a fairly stock story about the recent Chic-fil-A brouhaha, including Palin’s visit, with no reference to the introductory tune.

Yet, of course, some Smarty Pantsers are poo-pooing it.

Remember that one? Jimmy Fallon, Obama fan boy, had “Lyin’ Ass Bitch” playing as Michele Bachmann bumper music.

The Left, naturally, finds this professional sexism to be hilarious.

Yuk, yuk, yuk! It’s totally funny to call a highly accomplished and successful woman “stupid,” as long as she’s not the “right kind” of woman. Scratch a progressive, find a sexist. Every time!

Non-sexists recognize CNN’s actions for what they are: Classless, non-professional and totally biased.

On the plus side, did anyone actually see it? If you spew sexism and no one hears it, did it even actually happen?

Once again, members of the media prove that they are just lapdogs for the Left.

War on women? It’s coming from the Left, with the media’s complicity.
