Bada zing! Other media outlets are confirming that Governor Chris Christie (R-N.J.) will be the keynote speaker at the Republican national convention in Tampa, Fla. The bad news for some is that this is a sign that he is out of the Veepstakes running.
So, it's not Christie. But we knew that.

Or is it?
What if we're just supposta think that? Gah! RT @guypbenson: So, if true, 'Christie as RNC keynote' reports would confirm he's not VP.

The good news: A Chris Christie fist-pump-worthy speech.
@stephenfhayes I heard Christie at a Romney DC event today. Made solid case for Mitt, tied him to Amer Dream and hit Obama solidly btwn eyes

Chris Christie giving the keynote speech at GOP Convention. Not surprised. Good call.

Oh, make it happen!

Heh. Indeed. One thing is certain, based on the governor’s history, this speech will kick arse. Of course, an Obama For America staffer is worried.
Anger management issues? We think he misspelled “awesome.” Not surprising, as truth is scary to the Left.
Hopefully, Governor Christie will end the speech with “Christie OUT,” while kicking over his microphone.
And there definitely won’t be a sexier speech; as Governor Christie said, he is “the definition of sexy.“
