Wal-Mart is the latest to cave to the bullying tactics of anti-ALEC astroturfed mobs.

Here is a tip for you, Wal-Mart. When the following people agree with your craven move, you are doing it wrong.

Wal-Mart caved to the likes of Color of Change, vicious opponents of free speech, joining other cowards like McDonalds, Wendy’s and Coca-Cola. Why did they cave? Did they fall for the lies and scare tactics of Van Jones and his anti-free speech thugs who repugnantly claim that voter ID laws are “voter suppression?” Because, racism. Or something. Meanwhile, it is those who oppose voter ID laws who are the actual racists.

More from Michelle Malkin:

For years, progressives have sought to take down the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), a four-decade-old association of state legislators who believe in “the Jeffersonian principles of free markets, limited government, federalism, and individual liberty.” ALEC’s veteran policy experts have successfully teamed with public officials and the private sector on crafting model state bills covering everything from education reform and health care to pensions, public safety and civil justice.

Among the group’s greatest heresies in the eyes of the left: support for voter ID laws to protect election integrity, immigration enforcement measures and self-defense legislation to strengthen Second Amendment rights.

The idea that private businesses and public servants could work together voluntarily on public policy is too much for Big Labor and Big Government racketeers.

But pesky facts and truth are irrelevant to race-baiters, freedom of speech quashers and shake-down artists.

The sane are not so pleased that Wal-Mart caved to appease these shake-down artists.

And Kerpen calls it.

Smart move there, geniuses.

Wal-Mart didn’t stand its ground; conservatives, you need to.

Bullies cannot be defeated by appeasement. Bullies can only be defeated by standing your ground.

Here’s a refresher on how to do that.
