As a Mom to two biological children who also raised my ex-husband's two kids, I have been in the Mommy trenches for half my life. I love it here, but the haters can be ruthless. I chose never to breastfed and I had my kids on a delayed vaccination schedule, so I have heard it all. Oh, and there was the one lady who scolded me for allowing my 16 year old to wear jeans to sing on stage at church with the 'Praise and Worship' team. The Minister of Music approved it, but of course, 'Nosy Nellies' always have to put their two cents in. How about just be glad a teenager is at church and not out doing all the things teenagers could be doing? In the spirit of laughing together at all the Mom shaming all the Moms go through, Fox Host and new Mom, Kat Timpf, asked her followers to share their worst Mom shame incidents.
Moms, pls tell me stories of things YOU were shamed for in the comments 😎 pic.twitter.com/brtBbmfMZm

First of all, Kat has endured cancer treatment and new motherhood at the same time and looks fabulous. Major kudos to her.
I heard Carried Underwood say on Idol last night - Post and Ghost in regards to social media. So you post whatever and ghost all the comments. It is not worth some people's comments @KatTimpf. https://t.co/0VNrDDOHbQ

Oh yes! I would love to read the comments on my stories more often because I'd love to chat about what readers think. I rarely do though, because there is going to be at least two people telling me how ugly and fat I am and I can't deal with it.
1. Not breastfeeding "long enough"...
— Michelle Westover (@HappyWestover) April 29, 2025
2. Not taking baby to "meet the family" fast enough, especially my first when he was really in fragile health at first.... https://t.co/r5wiDfGZth
Some people get really upset when a mom chooses not to breastfeed at all or until their kid goes to Kindergarten. It's bizarre.
You’re doing it all right! F the haters!

That's the attitude a Mom in the public eye in any way at all must have.

They’re playing the long game. They became producers with the hope of one day meeting a mom who needs them to hold a baby for ten minutes. They then are able to walk past every single one of their coworkers who know that ain’t their baby, out the door to kidnap the baby. There…

Or the one time Bethany Mandel was telling a story about an on air appearance and someone freaked out because a producer watched her kid while she went on air. They were sure the producer wanted to kidnap Bethany's child. Heh.
Lol my favorite was when I decided to be a stay at home mom, and my sister-in-law asked me didn't I feel like I was wasting my college degree

The best is 'what if your husband leaves you and you have no income?'. What if? I'll go get a job and support me and my kid and hopefully make him pay so much child support he'll regret the day he left his family. Hopefully, karma is a nasty troll to him and he never sleeps well another night.
Taking a weekend with my mom to relax.

You mean you want to take a weekend with the woman who took care of you and enjoy life? How could you?
Take your baby to the grocery store and you’ll get a bunch of unsolicited parental advice. 😂

God forbid your kid yawns. “Oh she should be taking a nap right now!”
All Moms could tell you many occasions their kid 'should' be taking a nap, but refused, so Mom had to go on with her day. People have to eat and do chores. Please leave the Moms alone.
