Things at CNN are not good. This is what you call 'CNN in Disarray'. Pour one out or send up prayers, whatever it is one does when something is breathing its last breath.

1/ The news is not good at CNN. @DylanByers reports more layoff are coming. Ratings, post-election, are down.
I root for CNN. And I have an idea on how they could start turning it around.
Let me explain: pic.twitter.com/s0GdKY0OrB
The ratings spiked briefly on Election Day when we all watched to see them cry. After that fun wore off, it was just boring again. A bunch of people yelling at Scott Jennings isn't entertaining after so many days. Briefly, they yelled at Ryan Gidursky, but then he was too good at insulting them, came in hard with the beeper comment, and they banned him. Take a joke, ladies and gentleman.
2/ The biggest problem ALL mainstream media faces is that people have lost trust in them. Gallup polling shows trust in media at an all-time low. pic.twitter.com/b01ADOirWU

That's because they lie a lot.
4/ And I get why convincing someone to trust a giant media company is hard. Like, who wants to put their faith in some big, faceless business?
— Chris Cillizza (@ChrisCillizza) November 14, 2024
To be fair, it's mostly because of all of the lying.
5/ Which is where my idea comes in: Take 10-15 of CNN's experts in specific subject areas and build personal brands around them.

Here's a better idea. Fire them all, bring on some actual conservatives who voted for Trump, and then try again.

6/ CNN absolutely has the people to do this! I am not going to name all of them but a few off the top of my head: @brianstelter, @sarasidnerCNN, @ForecasterEnten, @kaitlancollins, @donie, @jaketapper

This list shows Chris doesn't get it at all. The public loathes Brian Stelter, Kaitlan Collins and Jake Tapper these days. They don't trust them and they see them as very much carrying water for the Left. Why do they keep recycling the same people and think it will make a difference. There was not one name in there who is a conservative. Do they really think they can ignore half of America and ever have the kind of audience numbers they desire?
CNN WILL NEVER HAVE AUDIENCE NUMBERS THEY DESIRE UNTIL THEY HAVE CONSERVATIVES WHO VOTED FOR TRUMP ON STAFF https://t.co/DW0sj7kIDa

I'm a conservative who voted for Trump. I get most of my news from Salem Media sites and watching Fox News. Do i agree with EVERYTHING Fox News says or does? Absolutely not. Do I think they are basically the only MAJOR cable network giving conservatives a shot? Yes, I do. I also think Fox allows Leftists on and gives them a fair shake. Isn't that how it is supposed to be? That's why it has the highest ratings. I don't think Conservatives are looking for an echo chamber. We are willing to be challenged. We just want to be treated fairly and not like a cartoon or an evil character in a Marvel movie.
