Democrats hate when Republican money taints the electoral process. Today they are calling for a constitutional amendment to overturn the Citizens United decision.
Their reasoning is that which supports Democrats is good and as it should be, while anything else is an evil outside influence by “special interests.”
You need a scorecard to keep track of all the straw men.
Exactly, if only there was some way for citizens to, say, unite and pool resources to amplify their voices.

They also spent more than $50 million to elect Democrats in 2010 and 2012. In 2008 alone they spent almost $40 million in support of left wing candidates. It’s all a game.
Certainly not. That’s not how this game is played.
The party who jammed Obamacare down our throats is pretending to be concerned about the voice of the people being heard in Washington? Pull the other one.
In short, progressives believe that natural rights like free speech or the right to own private property exist on a sliding scale. The more you are able to exercise that right, the less entitled to it you are because it’s just not fair.
There is one sure way to get money out of politics though…
